The film maker Fredrik Gerttens film Bananas!* is about a complicated damage liability case between 12 Nicaraguan banana workers and the large fruit company Dole. The filmen also follows the banana workers american lawyer, the non-profit working and charismatic Juan Dominguez. The documentary portraits the larger conflict where ten thousands fruit workers in a number of countries have gone sterile as a consequence of Doles usage of the pesticide DBCP.
