Ezio Gori (from South Africa) who recently held a lecture on the Sustainability Conference in Mundekulla will come to Skärva and hold a lectures (in English) on Permaculture, followed by a walk in which we view and discuss spots on Skärva. We serve tea at the an appropriate time (before or after the walk). Free participation. Please come at 17 for a simple meal and the opportunity to talk with each other and Ezio.

The campaign on biodiversity from the European Commission, entitled: ”Today is the sparrow, tomorrow it could be you”. In the film, we see organisms that were dead, get a second chance, and EU Commission calls upon all to act now and make a difference!

Join for three days of inspirational environmental/sustainable documentaries from around the world. The films will be showing from 13:15-21:00 on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Drop in for one film or stay the whole day. There will also be local speakers introducing the films and discussing sustainability initiatives currently underway in the Karlskrona. The “Karlskrona Sustainable Living Film Festival” film line-up includes documentaries dealing with the subjects of peak oil, mining, food supply, water issues, waste, and corporations. Entrance is free.
